A hydrocolloid dressing does not stick to the wound and does not damage the new epithelial cells when removed. It minimizes pain and trauma when dressing change, and enhances patient’s comfort.
Excellent elasticity conforms to body contour and can be easily used on areas hard to dress.
It may be used for light to moderate drainage: minor cuts, minor scalds and burns, lacerations and minor abrasions, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, minor surgical wounds.

Conkote Extra Thin Hydrocolloid Dressings

Conkote hydrocolloid dressing are made with hydrocolloid, which has good performance on liquid absorption, compliance and stickiness.

Working principle of hydrocolloid:

The hydrocolloid dressing absorbs wound exudate and forms a cohesive gel, which provides a moist healing environment for the wound, improves the regeneration capacity of wound granulation tissue, promotes the division and migration of epithelial cells, accelerates wound healing, and is not easy to leave scars.

It’s waterproof and protects the wound from microbial infections.

Semi-translucent film, easy visualization of the wound. It is easy to peel off and will not stick to the wound, which minimizes pain and trauma and improves patient comfort.

Excellent exudates absorption capacity.

Keep the wound in a moist environment, promote wound healing, effectively release pain and reduce wound care frequency.

Its excellent elasticity and self-adhesiveness makes it convenient and comfortable to wear.

Easy to peel-off. No adherence to the wound effectively reduces pain and potential damage.

Helps to prevent scabs, which can cause scarring.

Tips:

Frequency of Change

1. When the dressing color changes to reach a saturated state.

2. In the event of a leakage, if the dressing is uncomfortable for the patient.

3. Hydrocolloid Dressings need to be changed every three to seven days, dependent on patient exudate levels.

Cautions:

1. Don’t use for full thickness burn wound.

2. Don’t use for patients with a known allergy to hydrocolloid dressings.

3.Single-use proudct for each piece, do not reuse it.
